The MGA2000-6 is a new generation of Online Dissolved Gas Analyzer (DGA) equipment giving essential insight into the condition of transformers. Extensive field use proves that MGA2000-6 provides reliable information and represents invaluable tool for Asset Management. Accurate knowledge of the condition of the transformers is essential for all electrical networks and On-line Monitoring of critical transformers is increasingly vital. Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) and moisture measurement of the insulation oil are recognized as the most important tests for conditions assessment of transformers.
The “MGA2000-6 Transformer Online Multi-gas Analyzer” is a highly reliable, online monitoring instrument and system. It can analyze the concentrations and accumulation rates of dissolved gases inside transformer oil continuously, enable real-time and online monitoring. Automatic diagnosis of transformer faults can be performed by the fault diagnosis expert system of MGA2000-6. Such application is significant to prevent downtime incidents. Our technology and its application provide technical assurances for the transition from traditional Periodical maintenance to advanced Condition-based maintenance.

Detection Principle: Using tailor-made nanocrystalline semiconductor detector to measure hydrogen (H2), carbon monoxide (CO), methane(CH4), ethylene(C2H4), acetylene(C2H2), ethane(C2H6), total combustible gases (TCG); Using moisture detection unit to detect water content in oil
Reliable Gas Extraction: Vacuum Bubbling Method (VBM). High gas extraction rate, good repetitiveness, no contamination of oil and low gases extraction time.
Communications Mode: Data acquisition system in field communicating with data processing server by CAN Bus or RS485.
Network Protocol: System supports TCP / IP network protocols, remote monitoring and remote maintenance.
Alarm Mode: Two levels alarm, sonic/signal light alarm signals can be transmitted for remote monitoring.
The 9 gases measured are H2, CO, CH4, C2H4, C2H2, C2H6, THC, TCG & H2O from 1ppm up to 8000 ppm.
